Through media and technology, we bring together the spirit of community, collaboration, and commerce. Everything we build, from The Nod App and The Nod Magazine to our Foundation, is designed with clarity and care to advance this mission.

Marketing Communications Manager

As the Marketing Communications Manager at The Nod Inc., you’ll drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth through strategic marketing initiatives. You’ll craft compelling messaging, develop and execute multi-channel campaigns, and oversee both digital and offline communication strategies. Collaborating closely with product, sales, and leadership teams, you’ll ensure that our brand voice resonates with our target audience and aligns with our company’s vision.

VP of Growth – Edmonton, AB

As the VP of Growth at The Nod, you’ll lead user acquisition, expand market presence, and build strategic partnerships. You’ll collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and customer experience teams to create growth initiatives that align with The Nod’s mission and values.

Product Manager

As a Product Manager at The Nod Inc., you'll lead the development and management of our products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with business goals. You’ll connect market insights with community priorities to help us build meaningful, accessible, and scalable tools. Your role is pivotal in driving product innovation and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy in alignment with company objectives.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements based on market research and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Advocate for the customer, ensuring products deliver exceptional value and user experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role.

Stipend: $500 per month

Fundraising & Partnerships Intern

As a Fundraising & Partnerships Intern at The Nod, you’ll support our fundraising and partnership efforts while gaining hands-on experience in research, outreach, and relationship-building. You’ll help identify funding opportunities, draft materials, and assist in engaging with potential sponsors and partners who align with our mission.
  • Research and identify grant opportunities, corporate sponsors, and partnership prospects
  • Draft grant proposals and sponsorship packages
  • Manage outreach efforts to sponsors and partners

You’ll gain hands-on experience in content development, brand messaging, and digital storytelling while building your writing portfolio.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread content for websites, blogs, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone.
  • Conduct research on industry-related topics to enhance content relevance.
  • Assist in managing content calendars and meeting project deadlines.

  • Support the planning and execution of digital growth campaigns across social, email, and web platforms
